Responsibilities

  • Affords assistance in fulfilling and provisioning of IT hardware, software and associated services as requested by IT, end users and projects.
  • Serves as the System Owner of Victaulic Asset management system.
  • Maintains systems, creates core system documentation and provides End User Training as needed.
  • Collaborates in coordinating the monitoring, purchasing, and decommissioning of stock of inventory.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining an accurate inventory of all Victaulic assets globally.
  • Provides services directly supporting annual, periodic or cyclic inventories.
  • Provides Asset Management Metrics to support Strategic Objectives and standardized reporting initiatives.
  • Aids with the identification of requirements and development of requests for proposals.
  • Coordinates correct coding of all invoices and prepares invoice reconciliation with various Victaulic processes.
  • Maintains IT contracts and agreements with procurement group through execution of contracts.
  • Performs cost and price analysis, quarterly of all IT products.
  • Maintains asset inventory application and database.
  • Is subject matter expert in all phases of asset management, including administration of application, database, workflow, training and asset tagging through organization.
  • Maintains electronic history of all quotes, purchase orders and IT inventory items.
  • Evaluates proposals and participates in negotiations for final IT contractual agreements.
  • Maintains all procurement work flows and documentation.
  • Ensures compliance with organizational policies and procedures for capital and operational expenses.
  • Coordinates PC repair services under vendor contractual obligations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in IT hardware and software sourcing and purchasing.
  • Experience managing IT Asset systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of global IT asset inventory management.
  • Strong administrative skills, including application, database, workflow, and training.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in asset tagging and IT procurement activities.
  • Experience with IT contracts and agreements.
  • Strong analytical and cost management skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
  • Experience with IT procurement work flows and documentation.
