About the role
CEIS | Power is seeking an IT Procurement Specialist to support one of our top clients in Phoenix, AZ.
Qualifications
- 6+ years procurement and/or IT contracting experience — or 10+ years if no bachelor's degree
- Bachelor's in business, supply chain, or related field (4-year)
Responsibilities
- Proven track record negotiating large, complex IT services and SaaS contracts with real dollar impact
- Hands-on redlining and negotiating legal T&Cs
- Direct supplier-side experience with IT services (scope, deliverables, risk)
- Commercial acumen: pricing structures, rate escalations, milestones, payment terms
- Owns the full contract lifecycle and coordinates legal, cyber, insurance, tax, VAMO
Preferred skills
- Very large agreements with 6–9+ month negotiation cycles
- End-to-end RFP ownership, ideally for system integration services
- MRP system experience
- Strong Excel/Access
Schedule
- 12-month contract, possible extension
- Hybrid, onsite a couple times a month
- M–F, 8 hrs/day between 8a–5p, OT potential up to 10 hrs/week (1.5x)
