IT Project Management Office

  • Responsible for all IT Projects
  • Manage the IT project portfolio, ensuring prioritization aligns with strategic business goals
  • Partner with senior business and IT leaders to define priorities and ensure alignment with organizational objectives
  • Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders at all levels
  • Oversee large-scale enterprise programs and cross-functional initiatives
  • Maintain project health, budgets, schedules, dependencies, risks, and resource utilization
  • Provide executive-level reporting and dashboards on portfolio performance

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the overall IT PMO strategy, governance framework, methodologies, and best practices
  • Establish standardized project management processes, tools, templates, and reporting mechanisms
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery maturity and operational effectiveness
  • Develop KPIs and performance metrics to measure project success and PMO effectiveness
  • Oversee IT project budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking
  • Optimize allocation of project managers
  • Support vendor management, contract negotiations, and third-party engagements related to project delivery
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and security standards
  • Establish project governance controls, stage gates, and approval processes
  • Identify and mitigate program and project risks proactively
  • Lead, mentor, and develop PMO staff, project managers, and program managers
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and innovation
  • Drive training and adoption of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in IT project/program management with increasing leadership responsibility
  • 5+ years of experience managing enterprise PMO functions or large-scale IT portfolios
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid)
  • Experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets and enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Expected Base Pay Range

The expected base pay range for this role is $175,860 - $263,500 per annum. The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
