IT Onsite Support

About the role

Our client is looking to hire a Desktop technician to work onsite in Baltimore, MD. This person will assist with the migration, deployment, and ongoing support of laboratory instruments, workstations, and end-user computing environments. This role will provide hands-on technical support for critical business and lab operations while ensuring system reliability, compliance, and user productivity.

Required Experience and Skills

• Strong hands-on experience supporting HP and Dell desktops, laptops, workstations, and peripheral devices
• Experience administering and supporting hybrid Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID environments
• Microsoft 365 administration, including user account management, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, and related collaboration tools
• Experience with laptop imaging, deployment, and lifecycle management; familiarity with ManageEngine Endpoint Central preferred
• Asset inventory management, hardware tracking, and documentation of IT equipment
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and user guides
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, operating systems, network connectivity, printers, mobile devices, and enterprise applications

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Baltimore, MD.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
