About the role

Lead the IT Business Resiliency Services team, advancing the three pillars of IT Resiliency at Progressive: High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and Cyber Resiliency. Your team of 10–12 systems engineers, analysts, and software developers will design, implement, and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks across on-prem, cloud, vendor, and SaaS solutions, strengthening our ability to resist disruption and recover rapidly with minimal impact through modern, industry-informed resiliency practices.

This is a remote position with occasional travel for meetings and trainings.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of systems engineers, analysts, and software developers in delivering IT resiliency capabilities.
  • Design, implement, and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks.
  • Advance High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and Cyber Resiliency practices.
  • Collaborate with peers, IT, and business partners to build strong partnerships.
  • Implement continuous improvements and influence others at Senior Manager and peer levels.
  • Utilize Lean and Agile methodologies to lead Agile teams.

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of work experience managing professionals, technologies, architecture, or project delivery.

OR

Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Business discipline, or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Business Management) and a minimum of 1 year of work experience managing professionals, technologies, architecture, or project delivery.

  • Proven track record of high performance as an IT manager with strong learning agility and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated success as a people leader with the ability to coach and develop others while creating high-performance teams based on a culture of trust.
  • Ability to implement continuous improvements and influence others at both Senior Manager and peer levels.
  • Strong collaboration skills and demonstrated success in building partnerships with peers and with IT and business partners.
  • Experience utilizing Lean and Agile methodologies and leading Agile teams.

Pay

$148,320 - $181,000/year, plus an annual Gainshare cash incentive payment up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance.
