About the role
The Cybersecurity Manager at Lindt & Sprüngli plays a crucial role in implementing and managing the company's data and cybersecurity protection. They are responsible for developing the IT security strategy, overseeing technology governance and policies, and providing strategic risk guidance for IT initiatives. The role also involves collaborating with IT and business compliance teams, coordinating internal and external audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop the company’s IT security strategy, security awareness programs, security architecture, and security incident response
- Evaluate and recommend technical controls for IT initiatives
- Inform business leaders about security risks and mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with IT and business compliance teams as needed
- Coordinate the IT component of internal and external audits, and federal and state examinations
- Plan and oversee the IT security budget, resources, and projects
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and partners
- Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies and trends to recommend solutions that improve IT security functions and effectiveness
- Ensure adherence to IT security policies, standards, and best practices
- Train and mentor team members to improve IT security culture and awareness
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of managing others, providing solution designs, and operational excellence
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Demonstrated leadership in driving a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and other networking protocols
- In-depth technical knowledge of network, PC, and platform operating systems, including MS Windows, Linux, and Mac OS
Qualifications
- Training and mentoring team members to improve IT security culture and awareness
- Certifications in security standards (ISC2 CC, ISC2 SSCP, Microsoft SC-xx)
- Broad hands-on knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, data encryption, and industry-standard practices
