On-siteInformation TechnologyFull-time
Role Summary
The IT & Cybersecurity Manager at Titan Batteries keeps the entire company connected, equipped, and protected — provisioning and supporting every device and system across all sites while safeguarding Oscar, company data, and the team against cyber threats.
Responsibilities
- Device Provisioning: Provision and manage all company hardware — iPads for technicians, laptops and desktops for salaried and senior staff — ensuring everyone has the right, working equipment.
- IT Support & Infrastructure: Own all IT responsibilities globally — networks, databases, printers, security cameras, and general IT support across every site.
- Remote Site Management: Manage sites from afar where possible. Identify and coordinate local vendors for camera installation and on-site IT support until a site is large enough for its own dedicated IT staff.
- Cybersecurity — Systems: Protect Oscar and all company systems and data — managing access, security configurations, backups, and the overall security posture.
- Cybersecurity — People: Train salaried team members against phishing and other attacks, building a security-aware culture.
- Account Management: Set up and manage email accounts and system access for all team members as they join, move, or leave.
- CMMC Readiness: Stay aware of CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification). Titan Batteries is not yet required to hold it, but this role should understand it and proactively push the company toward those standards ahead of the requirement.
Skills Needed
- Soft Skills:
- Service Orientation: Genuinely wants to help people work better — patient, responsive, and calm when something's broken.
- Remote Resourcefulness: Comfortable solving problems at sites they're not physically at, building a network of trusted local vendors.
- Security Mindset: Thinks like a defender — anticipates threats and takes protection of data and people seriously.
- Clear Communicator: Explains technical and security concepts to non-technical team members helpfully, not condescendingly.
- Proactive: Gets ahead of problems and pushes the company toward better practices.
- Organized: Manages devices, accounts, vendors, and systems across multiple sites without losing track.
- Tech Skills:
- IT Infrastructure: Strong working knowledge of networks, devices, databases, printers, and systems administration.
- Device & Account Management: Experienced provisioning hardware fleets and user accounts (email, access, permissions).
- Cybersecurity Fundamentals: Solid grasp of access control, data protection, backups, threat detection, and security awareness training.
- Cloud & Business Systems: Comfortable supporting cloud-based business systems (including protecting Oscar) and surrounding infrastructure.
- CMMC & Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with CMMC and defense-related cybersecurity requirements, or the drive to come up to speed quickly.
- Vendor Management: Sources, evaluates, and coordinates local IT and security vendors across multiple geographies.
