Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the IT operational strategy aligned with the Company's overall goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with the executive team to define and execute the company's long-term vision.
- Identify opportunities for IT operational improvements, cost optimization, and efficiency enhancements.
- Provide leadership and direction to all IT facets, such as in-house team, MSPs, hardware, facilities, and coworkers.
- Ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations, optimizing resource allocation and utilization.
- Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline processes and improve productivity.
- Monitor and evaluate IT operational performance using data and metrics, making data-driven decisions to drive continuous improvement.
- Build and lead a high-performing IT operations team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to the department.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the IT operations function.
- Establish succession plans to ensure a strong talent pipeline for key operational roles.
- Identify IT operational risks and develop strategies with senior leadership to mitigate them.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Implement and monitor equipment, health and data safety protocols to provide a stable IT working environment.
- Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED, required.
- 7+ Years of increasing technical responsibility, 5+ Years of IT Management or team leadership (preferred).
- Physically capable of doing necessary tasks, carrying equipment, using hand tools, climbing ladders.
- Knowledge of IT best practices including HIPAA compliance and data protection.
- Ability to work within a team environment and lend support, as a team player, to team members as needed.
