IT Managed Services Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities throughout North Carolina
• Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach, events, and strategic partnerships
• Conduct discovery meetings to understand client business and technology needs
• Present and sell managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, VoIP, backup/disaster recovery, and related technology services
• Prepare proposals, pricing, and service agreements
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive retention and upsell opportunities
• Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline and activity records in CRM systems
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals
• Stay current on technology trends, cybersecurity risks, and competitive offerings
• Represent the company professionally at networking events, trade shows, and community business functions

Qualifications

• 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in IT services, telecommunications, SaaS, or technology solutions
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Ability to build relationships with business owners and decision-makers
• Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
• Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within North Carolina
• Preferred: Experience selling Managed Services, cybersecurity, cloud, or VoIP solutions, existing network of business contacts in North Carolina, understanding of MSP business models and recurring revenue sales, Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
