Full-time position (1.0 FTE) for 255 days per year, reporting to the Director of Technology.
About the role
WCESD is seeking two motivated individuals to provide technical support in person, by phone, and through remote access. Responsibilities include supporting a diverse range of organizations, including schools, nonprofits, government agencies, and healthcare clinics.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and network issues
- Assist with technology projects and installations
- Replace network cabling
- Deliver technology training
Requirements
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Work in confined spaces and at heights
- Perform duties in both indoor and occasional outdoor environments
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Accurate typing (40+ WPM)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and fingerprinting (estimated cost of $70)
Qualifications
No prior experience is necessary; training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate aptitude.
Pay
$24–$30 per hour
