About the Role
The Information Technology Intern will support the enterprise thru hands-on solution development and/or support in one of the following areas: IT Infrastructure, Enterprise Applications, or IT Security.
Duties and Responsibilities
In addition to working on a summer project, the IT intern will also have the opportunity to:
- Meet with internal CLR customers to document specific business and technical requirements
- Design and model a solution that meets the needs of the documented requirements
- Develop a task plan that shows both individual and external tasks to develop a solution to meet the needs of the customer
- Create a prototype of the proposed solution
- Develop IT processes and operational documentation based on infrastructure and system requirements
- Participate in or lead project planning sessions
- Troubleshoot technical or business system issues providing root cause identification and resolution
- Create technical designs based on gathered requirements
- Develop system modules and solutions based on gathered requirements
- Provide end user training and support
- Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
- Current enrollment in an accredited four (4) year College or University
- Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
- Eligible to work permanently in the United States upon graduation
- An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Any IT related development or support experience
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
