About This Job

The Commerce Bank Summer Internship Program offers students a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. Interns work on meaningful projects, collaborate with various IT teams, and engage with senior leaders.

Essential Functions

• Work as part of an agile development team to analyze, design, create, code, and maintain a full-stack software application
• Collaborate and network with over 20 IT teams that support the bank
• Partner with your peers and mentor to complete projects and duties
• Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

• General understanding of principles in one or more programming languages such as Java or C#
• Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Able to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and a positive influence on the team

Education & Experience

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience required
• Prioritizing junior or senior standing preferred

Hybrid Schedule

Works 3 days per week in the office

Pay & Benefits

• Paid, full-time internship with a Monday through Friday work schedule
• Reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $22.00 per hour
