IT Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Help set up and configure computers, printers, and other devices
• Respond to basic user support requests
• Monitor system performance and report issues
• Aid in routine maintenance tasks
• Help with network setup and connectivity checks
• Maintain records of IT assets and inventory
• Document technical procedures and solutions
• Update user guides and manuals
• Support user account management (e.g., password resets)
• Afford IT security policies
• Aid in data backup and recovery processes
• Help install and update software applications
• Aid in testing new tools or features
• Provide feedback on usability and performance
• Attend team meetings and training sessions
• Shadow IT professionals to learn workflows
• Communicate effectively with users and team members
