Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM in the NYC office. Friday upon request.
About the role
This role supports local IT operations at the office, troubleshooting and maintaining employee computers (Windows and Mac), configuring hardware and software, setting up computers, and providing daily support to computer network users. The position also manages legacy IT assets, assesses their reusability, and creates a comprehensive inventory.
Responsibilities
- On/off-boarding computer setup: prepare Windows/Mac computers for new hires and deliver devices; reset and evaluate used computers for reusability and complete setup; prepare necessary equipment beyond PCs.
- IT Asset Management: organize the IT server room; coordinate disposal of outdated IT equipment by listing items and contacting the recycling vendor; assist with lifting boxes weighing approximately 25 to 40 pounds.
- POS System Management: manage and support POS systems across retail store locations; provide remote and on-site troubleshooting for POS hardware, software, network, and peripherals; install, configure, update, and maintain POS equipment and applications; prepare and deploy POS equipment for new store openings; maintain accurate records of POS devices, configurations, repairs, and replacements; monitor system performance and ensure POS systems remain secure and operational.
Qualifications
- Windows PC experience is required.
- IT operational background is a plus.
- Bilingual (Korean–English) is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
