About the role
The IT Infrastructure and Support Manager is responsible for overseeing the technical infrastructure and support services within a hybrid work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of IT systems and support methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage solutions.
- Manage and support a team of IT professionals, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and resources to deliver high-quality support services.
- Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Ensure the availability and security of critical IT systems and data, implementing appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or support roles.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of IT professionals.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network administration, and server management.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
- Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and incident response protocols.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
