IT Helpdesk Intern
Your future in IT starts here! This is a hands-on internship opportunity and is based onsite 5 days a week in Chelmsford, MA. Pay rate: $18/hr.
About the role
Join a fast-paced team where your work has a visible impact. By managing our helpdesk queue, you’ll become a vital link between complex technology and the people who use it, turning technical hurdles into seamless workflows.
Responsibilities
- First line support for service desk ticket requests
- Assist with onboarding new Axians – including, but not limited to, building new hire laptops and conducting trainings
- Help create and maintain knowledge base documentation
- Maintain and organize inventory
- Shadow senior team members
- Involvement in ongoing IT projects
- Perform additional tasks as required
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Organized with ability to multi-task
- Excellent use of time management
- High skill level with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows Platform
- Ability to effectively work independently as well as within a team
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Eager and quick learner
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Management Information Systems
- Maintained GPA of 3.0 or better
- Prior IT internship experience a plus
- Interest in learning about Information Systems
- Interest in technology as this will focus on our Windows platform, office applications and more
Pay
$18/hr
