About the Opportunity

The IT Help Desk Specialist serves as the primary technical support contact for employees, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. This role is essential for maintaining efficient internal IT services by addressing and resolving technical issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, and ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Log, prioritize, and track incidents and service requests.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, and approved applications.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff with detailed information.
• Assist with user account management including password resets and permissions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
• Support a positive team environment focused on customer service.

Requirements

• Experience in IT help desk or technical support roles.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office 365.
• Familiarity with help desk ticketing software and remote support tools.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a customer focus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation are preferred.

Pay

• Hourly wage of $28 - $33 USD per hour.
• Permanent full-time and part-time positions available.
