IT Hardware Engineer
Responsibilities
- Analyzes equipment specifications and process requirements to conceive a practical design.
- Determines feasibility from technical and economic perspectives.
- Collaborates with research engineers or scientists and customer representatives to resolve design problems.
- Develops and maintains technical procedures, documentation, and manuals.
- Compiles and analyzes operational data and directs tests to establish standards for new designs or modifications to existing equipment, systems, or processes.
- May supervise the work of technicians and technologists who provide technical support.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance
- BS, 5-7 years of relevant experience; MS, 3-5 years; PhD, 0-2 years
- Comptia Security+, Desired
- CySA + CASP+ CISSP (IAT III), Core Hardware & Infrastructure Certification desired
- CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Server+
- Dell EMC Proven Professional HPE ATP/ASE – Server Solutions, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), VMware VCP – Data Center Virtualization, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP), Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA), Dell EMC Storage Administrator, Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE), Certified Authorization Professional (CAP), STIG implementation training, RMF (NIST 800-37 / 800-53) familiarity, ITIL® 4 Foundation, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, COBIT 2019 Foundation Overview

Target salary range: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00.
