About the role

The Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer will support the Orlando, FL site in developing hardware for military electronics, including CCAs and harnesses. Responsibilities will involve cross-functional coordination to complete hardware design efforts and support integration for designated electronic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Research, develop, and design component equipment for military applications
  • Design networks for military applications
  • Support CCA/PCB and cable/harness design and documentation
  • Support hardware prototype experience, including 3D printing
  • Create hardware drawings, drawing instructions, assembly instructions, Bill of Material (BOM), test documentation, etc. using CAD tools

Requirements

  • PTC Creo/Windchill: 3-6 years
  • Interconnector and wiring diagram: 3-6 years
  • Technical Drawing (ASME Y14.5) creation: 3-6 years
  • Experience with PTC Creo, Catia, or similar 3D modeling software
  • Hardware prototype experience, including 3D printing
  • Experience with creating hardware drawings, drawing instructions, assembly instructions, BOM, test documentation, etc. using CAD tools
  • Experience with Cable and Harness Design: 3-6 years
  • PCB/CCA Mechanical Packaging (Stress/Thermal and Mil-STD-461/464 familiarity): 3-6 years
