IT Field Technician

About the role

Location: Spokane, Washington. Salary Range: $22.00-34.00 per hour. Travel: 30% travel between Spokane, Washington and Los Angeles, CA; candidate must reside near Spokane, WA. Owns the day-to-day performance, reliability, and security of on-site technology for an assigned territory of approximately 10–20 PRISM locations and serves as the primary point of local IT presence and accountability. Acts as the face of IT to clinic staff, office managers, and providers, building the relationships needed to catch and resolve small issues proactively, before they escalate into disruptions. Does not hold, nor is expected to have, administrator-level access or specialized expertise for every system. Instead, the role is expected to recognize scope boundaries and engage the right resource (helpdesk, application teams, systems admin, security team, the third-party MSP, or McKesson's broader technology organization), staying engaged as the site's point of accountability until resolution. Leads device deployment and initial setup for new and existing locations following established checklists, and uses available tools (ticketing/ITSM, RMM, AI-assisted troubleshooting resources) to work efficiently across the assigned territory. Operates independently with minimal direct daily supervision.
