Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues within an assigned region.
- Provide advanced Level II desktop support for Windows desktops, laptops, peripherals, and business applications.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows 11 operating systems and standard business software.
- Support mobile devices, including iOS and Android platforms.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop printers and multifunction devices.
- Respond to support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Manage, prioritize, and resolve multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, and application support teams.
- Maintain detailed service records and status updates within the IT service management platform.
- Coordinate infrastructure projects, hardware refreshes, software deployments, and technology rollouts.
- Participate in after-hours support when required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- A bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related technology field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience is acceptable.
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on desktop support experience, preferably supporting multiple remote locations, is required.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows 11 Desktop and laptop hardware, LAN, WAN, wireless networking, and web-based technologies is necessary.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, security, and enterprise applications is essential.
- Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Outstanding customer service and communication abilities are crucial.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is important.
- Strong documentation and time management skills are beneficial.
- The legal authorization to work permanently in the United States is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oil & Gas industry experience is a plus.
- Experience using BMC Remedy or other IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms is advantageous.
- Professional Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or HDI Desktop Support Technician are preferred.
