IT Field Support Technician

About the role

Our client is seeking an IT Field Support Technician to provide hands-on desk-side technical support across multiple office locations. The ideal candidate will be dependable, comfortable working independently, and able to travel between sites throughout the day. This is an onsite position based in Monroe county, NY.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 desk-side support to end users across multiple office locations
• Travel between the primary office and secondary/remote-area offices as needed throughout the day
• Support and troubleshoot Windows 11 devices
• Assist end users with Microsoft Teams issues
• Support network infrastructure tasks such as access point replacement, cabling, and router or switch installation, when needed

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional experience in a Field Support Technician or similar desk-side support role
• Hands-on experience with Windows 11 environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams
• A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel between office locations

Preferred skills

• Network experience (AP replacement, cabling, router or switch installation)
• A+ certification
• AV experience

Pay

Starting at $20/hour.
