IT Field Support Technician
About the role
Serving as the first point of contact for IT support.
Installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systems.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
Troubleshooting challenges with computers and network devices.
Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components.
Ensuring the security of clients and server computers by installing and upgrading antivirus and firewall software.
Maintaining and updating technical documentation regularly.
Testing new hardware and software before full-scale installation.
Responsibilities
- Serving as the first point of contact for IT support.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systems.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues.

Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience working in IT.
- Experience with Active Directory, Windows OS, SCCM, and SITIL Methodologies.
- Strong customer service skills.
Qualifications
- An associate’s degree in an IT related field.
- 1 year of experience with computer hardware repair.
- 1 year of experience with technical support.
- 1 year of experience with software troubleshooting.
Skills

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This role is on-site, Monday through Friday.
