IT Field Services Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled IT professional to join our team. This position will cover Allentown PA and the surrounding Delaware Valley area.

Responsibilities

• Apply technology solutions to accommodate business needs.
• Show troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in a stressful environment.
• Work independently toward defined objectives.
• Interface with cross-functional project teams.
• Work within established business processes and escalate issues as necessary.
• Adhere to and enforce standard policies and procedures.
• Operate under deadlines and manage heavy workloads.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Be highly organized and self-motivated.

Requirements

• Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Technology (preferred).
• One or more years of experience with an Information Technology application or system.
• Knowledge of applying technology solutions to accommodate business needs.
• Certifications are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with modern desktop and mobile computer technology.
• Advanced working knowledge of Information Technology systems.
• Understanding of compliance protocols such as Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), Payment Card Industry (PCI), and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and callers.
• Highly organized and self-motivated.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Technology (preferred).
• Experience: One or more years of experience with an Information Technology application or system.

• Proficiency with modern desktop and mobile computer technology.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
