What You'll Do

As an IT Engineer Intern within TJX Global IT, you will learn, contribute, and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic global IT organization, while applying your engineering knowledge to solve real-world technology challenges. TJX's global IT organizational structure means opportunities and problem solving are not limited to where you sit. Depending on your interests, expertise, and our business needs, you could focus on one of several possible pathways: Platform Engineering, Data and Automation Solutions, Security Engineering, Software Development, Product Configuration.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on training to facilitate learning
• Group project in collaboration with other interns and business leaders to contribute to IT strategy while solving a business challenge
• Collaborate with experienced technology engineers and specialists globally in an Agile environment to identify innovative technology solutions for all aspects of our global business
• Design, code and test solutions that make our platforms even better
• Learn about TJX's business and technologies
• Review and evolve current processes
• Work autonomously and collaborate in groups to tackle challenges, advance projects, and complete assignments

Qualifications

• Current juniors
• Students pursuing a bachelor's degree in a Technical area: Computer Science, Cyber Security, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related major
• Genuine interest in an Engineer career at TJX
• Problem solving through thinking analytically and creatively
• Working autonomously and collaborating as part of a team
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn
• Leadership abilities and good work ethic
• Those who can think in "Agile Mindset"—flexible, adept at handling change, willingness to learn

Pay

Starting pay range of $25 to $26 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Schedule & Location

Variable work schedule based on the needs of the business. Located at 300 Value Way, Marlborough, MA. Reliable transportation is required as TJX is not easily accessible to public transportation.
