IT Director (QA)
About the role
The IT Manager I oversees the QA Policy team responsible for ensuring quality, consistency, and reliability across applications, components, and system interfaces. This role partners closely with Development, DevOps, Data Management, Network Operations, offshoring partners, and consultants to drive automation, manage testing activities, and strengthen enterprise quality practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead the QA Policy team and guide statewide QA practices and methodologies.
- Oversee the implementation of automation, including employee training and system/application testing.
- Ensure QA alignment with organizational priorities, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams on testing readiness, system reliability, and process improvements.
- Provide leadership, direction, and strategic recommendations to strengthen overall product quality and customer experience.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, experience with quality assurance methodologies, exceptional communication skills, and a strategic mindset. They will also possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Pay
The starting salary for this position is $9,387.00 - $12,579.00 per month, with potential for growth based on performance and experience.
