About the role
The Information Systems Director position is a full-time role within the Town of Scarborough and Scarborough Public Schools, Maine. This role is responsible for overseeing the acquisition, application, and integration of information technology systems and services that support academic, administrative, and operational strategies across municipal and school departments.Responsibilities
- Ensure the effective acquisition, application, and integration of IT systems and services.
- Manage the Department of Information Technology Services.
- Strategically lead the development of IT vision, policies, and plans.
- Directly oversee personnel and departmental fiscal responsibilities.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field.
- Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in technology-related positions.
- At least five (5) years of experience in senior management or executive-level IT responsibilities.
- Excellent driving record and availability to work evenings.
