IT Desktop Support

About the role

Brinkmann Constructors is hiring an experienced IT Desktop Support Specialist to provide support for end users across all offices and remote locations. The environment is primarily a Microsoft Windows environment utilizing Office 365 and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Installing and configuring hardware, software, and peripherals for end users
• Upgrading laptop computers, including migrating user data
• Build and configuration of equipment for new hires
• Creating new user accounts in Active Directory/Entra
• Provide end user technical support in a timely manner
• Maintain support requests in ZenDesk ticketing system
• Assist with mobile device upgrades and new deployments
• Maintain asset tracking
• Periodic travel to Brinkmann regional offices and job sites

Requirements

• At least 5 years of related work experience
• Bachelor’s degree, technical training, or equivalent combination of education/experience
• Microsoft Windows 10/11 support
• iOS support skills
• Detailed oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service for employees
• Experience with Microsoft Entra and Microsoft Office 365
• Experience with Zendesk or equivalent ticketing system
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Must be willing to travel once every 1-2 months to provide support at regional offices and job sites

Working Conditions

• Primarily performed indoors at Brinkmann’s corporate office
• Regular office hours, with potential for extended hours during reporting cycles
• Light physical effort, including handling objects up to 10 pounds
• Involves standing, walking, sitting, talking, and/or hearing
