About the role
The IT Coordinator supports all technology used in food & beverage operations, including POS environments, back-of-house systems, and event-day workflows. This role ensures reliable technology for concessions stands, premium clubs, kitchens, offices, and mobile-ordering stations before, during, and after events. The coordinator serves as the central point of contact for IT issues, vendor communication, asset tracking, and small project deployments across the venue.
Responsibilities
- Support POS terminals, kiosks, handheld devices, printers, kitchen display systems, and payment hardware throughout the venue.
- Perform pre-event technology checks (POS connectivity, device readiness, network stability, printer functionality).
- Provide real-time event support during Blues games, concerts, and special events, escalating issues quickly to keep stands operational.
- Coordinate post-event shutdowns, device resets, and incident documentation.
- Act as the first point of contact for IT incidents and service requests, logging and prioritizing issues.
- Track ticket progress, communicate updates, and ensure timely resolution aligned with service expectations.
- Assist managers, supervisors, and stand leads with basic troubleshooting, password resets, and access issues.
- Maintain accurate inventories of POS units, tablets, scanners, radios, laptops, and peripherals across all Levy locations inside the arena.
- Track device lifecycle from deployment through repair, replacement, or decommissioning.
- Coordinate installation, configuration, and updates for user devices and venue systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the venue for extended periods, including during event hours.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move IT equipment (POS terminals, tablets, printers, cables, etc.) typically up to 25–40 lbs.
- Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and work in tight or crowded concession and premium areas.
- Ability to climb stairs and navigate multiple levels of the arena as needed.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-traffic environments with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to use computers, handheld devices, and small tools for installation and troubleshooting tasks.
- Ability to remain on-site for long shifts during events, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Pay
$25.00 to $27.00 per hour.
