IT Consultant 2

About the role

The agency is seeking an IT Consultant to oversee and advance project governance and project portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the creation and implementation of comprehensive project governance policies.
• Manage and administer the agency’s project portfolio to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Lead requirements gathering and business relationship management for several projects, collaborating with stakeholders to define needs and maintain communication.
• Serve as a senior resource to agency project managers, offering guidance and support as needed.
• Maintain oversight of project and portfolio progress, ensuring projects stay on track and provide timely reports to the CIO and executive leadership.
• Independently manage multiple IT projects from initiation through completion.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of project management principles and best practices.
• Experience managing multiple IT-related projects simultaneously.
• Proven leadership and communication skills, including the ability to report to executives and collaborate across teams.
• Ability to develop governance policies and administer project portfolios.
• Proven ability to gather and analyze requirements for complex projects.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation: $203-208k AM: Stacy Walker
