IT Business Systems Developer

About the role

OPSPro specializes in providing small businesses and government contractors with compliance and operational support including HR, Payroll, Accounting, Contracting, and IT. We are seeking an experienced Microsoft SharePoint and Power BI Software Developer to join our team. The candidate will provide client support for cloud-based applications, primarily within Microsoft 365 environments. The role requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team while managing multiple tasks concurrently. Responsibilities include supporting and maintaining corporate application systems for the intranet, taking on new projects, and contributing to a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Use data to understand business patterns and trends
• Analyze internal and external data through quantitative research
• Communicate findings to the company through standard and ad hoc reports
• Promote best practices in data analysis and reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Create, update, and develop business tools and applications for use across the company
• Provide documentation and training for company and client staff on the use of business applications
• Assist the technical lead with projects from implementation through testing and production
• Communicate effectively with users at all skill levels and document unique issues and solutions in a support knowledgebase or procedure/policy documents
• Accurately update applications, websites, and content management systems
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and support software applications and business processes
• Analyze and test new software configurations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in business intelligence, analysis, or a related field
• Knowledge of statistical tools and business reporting
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and multitask

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint, MS Flow, MS Teams, and Power BI
• 3–5 years of experience working with JavaScript
• 1–3 years of experience with HTML, CSS, jQuery, and C# or .NET, Node.js, .NET Core
• Strong aptitude and desire to learn new systems
• Willingness to learn and maintain Office 365 applications and low-code solutions
• Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Experience implementing and troubleshooting API connections
• Experience with accounting systems and related data
