IT Business Systems Analyst

About the role

This is a temporary contract assignment located at 799 G Street, Sacramento, CA 95814. The IT Business Systems Analyst will serve as a strong SAP benefits and payroll functional consultant, leading complex benefits service requests and requirements gathering sessions for a public sector client.

Responsibilities

• Lead and complete complex benefits service requests involving payroll rules, schemas, functions, and wage type configuration to meet business requirements.
• Conduct requirements gathering sessions and meetings to elicit complex business requirements from County stakeholders.
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to permanent County staff.
• Perform SAP Payroll business process testing.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of recent SAP configuration experience in the benefits module, with at least 3 years in the public sector.
• Strong expertise in SAP Benefits, ECC 6.0 Payroll Configuration, SAP Payroll Rules and Schemas, and SAP Payroll Functions.
• Experience with integration between SAP Payroll and SAP Finance, as well as SAP Wage Type Configuration.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and requirements gathering skills.
