IT Business Continuity Consultant

About the Role

At Accenture Federal Services, we help the US federal government make the nation stronger and safer and improve people's lives. As an IT Business Continuity Consultant, you will support project and program management activities, work with technical teams to identify requirements and test plans, define business continuity scenarios, and coordinate deployment and exercise activities. You will plan, prepare, perform, and document Business Continuity activities within the IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Work with technical teams to capture work efforts, document tasks, and coordinate across teams.
• Support the creation of work products and templates for Business Continuity planning.
• Identify potential areas of improvement and make recommendations.
• Plan, prepare, perform, and document Business Continuity activities within the IT infrastructure.
• Collaborate with business and technology professionals to ensure continuity during disruptions.

Requirements

• US Citizen on US soil (required).
• Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
• Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Skilled in using MS Word, MS Excel, and Visio.

Qualifications

• Bonus if you have 1-2 years of requirements gathering and/or testing experience.
• Experience participating in a Disaster Recovery or Ransomware exercise or real-life scenario.
• Knowledge of business impact and risk analysis processes.

Pay

The base pay range for this position in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is $78,600—$160,200 USD.
