Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid) • Duration: 12 months
About the role
This role is responsible for completing and tracking compliance deliverables to ensure applications adhere to applicable policies, standards, and local regulations. The position involves supporting vendors, development teams, and technology managers to ensure technical security, risk, and compliance activities are completed on time. This individual will partner with control functions, risk management, and information security teams to manage compliance deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that risk, security, and other compliance deliverables are completed on time and per requirements for the applications supported.
- Complete administrative and non-technical tasks related to compliance deliverables such as access reviews, assessments, and questionnaires.
- Assist with audit exams and risk assessments for the applications.
- Track and support technical security and risk activities performed by development teams, including remediation of vulnerabilities and disaster recovery exercises.
- Maintain application data in systems of record.
- Work with vendors for vendor applications to ensure the application meets organizational requirements.
- Assist with ad hoc inquiries and questions about the application.
- Interface with technology infrastructure teams for infrastructure requirements.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience with Information Security standards, vulnerability management, vulnerability identification, and remediation.
- Knowledge of information security, vulnerability management, secure coding, and bug fixing.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools used in a large organization’s application and infrastructure security.
- Knowledge of SWIFT is a significant advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cybersecurity certifications.
- Experience with vulnerability scoring.
