IT Business Analyst III

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (hybrid) • Duration: 12 months

About the role

We are seeking an IT Business Analyst III to act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role focuses on converting evolving reporting needs into clear, actionable requirements aligned with regulatory and enterprise objectives. The position is centered on improving efficiency by identifying gaps, eliminating redundancies, and standardizing workflows across pipelines to enable faster delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
• Manage stakeholder and project relationships across business and technology teams.
• Conduct process analysis to identify inefficiencies and drive optimization.
• Utilize a solid understanding of Agile and SDLC practices.
• Develop clear, concise documentation and maintain effective communication.
• Apply strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to address challenges.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Business Analyst role with a background in financial services or risk data.
• Awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Exposure to managed Agile delivery processes using tools like Jira for backlog management and sprint planning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile.
• Familiarity with Python, PL/SQL, or Java.
