About the role

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with healthcare data, developing operational insights, and improving reporting through data analysis and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze pharmacy dispensing and fulfillment data to support operational decision-making.
  • Develop, validate, and maintain operational metrics using multiple data sources.
  • Improve reporting accuracy, automation, and overall data quality.
  • Build and maintain operational dashboards and reports.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Support finance and operational reporting through consolidated data views.
  • Perform data analysis using SQL, Excel, Python, and/or R.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within operational data.
  • Translate complex data into meaningful business recommendations.
  • Aid in operational issue resolution through data-driven analysis.
  • Handle Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with covered-entity data governance policies.
  • Ensure appropriate separation of manufacturer and covered-entity data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Data Science, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-8 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst.
  • 1-3 years of experience working within a HIPAA-covered healthcare environment.
  • Strong proficiency in: SQL, Microsoft Excel, Python, or R.
  • Experience analyzing: Healthcare data, Pharmacy data, Claims or dispensing data.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and PHI handling requirements.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
