Skills
- Experience with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) based Service Management tools.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of and experience writing and analyzing requirement specifications.
- Exposure to and an understanding of application development methodologies and the development lifecycle.
- Strong skills in: problem solving, negotiation, written and verbal communication, team coordination as well as experience working with cross-functional teams of subject matter experts.
- Demonstrated ability to recognize computer related incidents and symptomatic patterns to assist in problem management and/or root/cause analysis.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and create solutions to ITSM (IT Service Management) related problems.
- Demonstrated the ability to create a network of support/business resources.
- Demonstrated ability to handle work-flow policy issues should management be unavailable.
- Exposure to managing both custom developed and vendor-supplied applications.
- Understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) philosophy.
- Experience in working with healthcare technology.
Requirements
- A High School/GED and 4 years of business analyst training/certification and experience OR a bachelor's degree and 3 years of business analyst training/certification and experience.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with large, complex business transformations and process changes.
- Knowledge of healthcare information systems/terminology, tools/templates for process improvement and work management.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools, Visio, Lucid and project/service management software.
- Familiarity with business analysis methods, Agile, and waterfall.
- Responsibilities that have included collaborations with stakeholders to understand the needs and outcomes and the ability to translate into business requirements.
- Development of current and future process documentation as well as detailed requirements to ensure the solution meets the intended outcomes.
- Managing and status reporting of requirements throughout the lifecycle of the product.
- Effectively communicating insights across cross-functional teams and leadership.
Benefits
- Typical work hours are 8AM- 5PM, Monday through Friday.
- Typically, a 40-hr work week, however, this may vary depending on the needs of the project.
- No on call hours.
- Mayo will provide the necessary equipment and software required.
- The positions are remote but may require up to two visits on site each year.
