IT Auditor I

About the Opportunity

The IT Auditor I role is responsible for conducting IT audits to ensure compliance with external regulations and internal policies. This position contributes by identifying control weaknesses and operational inefficiencies within technology processes, thereby supporting risk management and governance efforts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with audit and IT teams to define audit objectives, scopes, and testing strategies aligned with risk priorities.
• Assist in planning, executing, and reporting IT audit engagements, including SOX ITGC testing and risk-based reviews.
• Analyze data to identify control deficiencies and noncompliance; communicate findings and recommendations clearly.
• Use data analytics to assess large datasets and improve audit effectiveness.
• Monitor audit findings and validate remediation plans; report remediation status to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to enhance controls and reduce risk exposure.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience.
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and build relationships.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt.

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 – $84,000, dependent on experience, qualifications, skills, and location. Eligible for an annual performance-based incentive.
