As part of Internal Audit at MetLife, you’ll play a critical role protecting MetLife and its stakeholders by delivering both independent, risk-based, and objective assurance through audit execution and providing advice and insights through strategic advisory engagements. The Opportunity The IT Auditor II is expected to contribute throughout the audit lifecycle and support the delivery of technology audits using contemporary audit techniques, including data analytics and digital tools. The role is focused on obtaining assurance over technology risks and controls while developing deeper technology expertise. Key Responsibilities Performing and documenting control testing.Performing issue validation and audit testing procedures.Supporting audit team plans and objectives.Meeting project deadlines and quality expectations.Managing upward and across through effective communication and stakeholder engagement. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.At least 1 year of experience in IT audit, technology risk management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud technologies, software development, or a related technology discipline.Understanding of technology risks and controls across one or more domains such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, infrastructure, data governance, or application development.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to document testing results, communicate risks effectively, and build relationships with stakeholders.Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development, including maintaining awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends. Preferred Qualifications Professional certification such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CIA, CPA, or equivalent, or progress towards obtaining a certificationExperience using data analytics, automation, or audit technology tools to enhance audit effectivenessKnowledge of financial services technology environments, regulatory expectations, and risk management practices Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office. The expected salary range for this position is $65,200 - $86,900. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
