IT Assistant
About the role
Bretz RV & Marine is seeking a Help Desk Assistant to join our dynamic IT department. This role involves answering phones, logging helpdesk requests, and coordinating with the IT team to resolve issues promptly.
Responsibilities
- Answer phones enthusiastically and log help requests for the IT department
- Ensure requests for the IT department are appropriately received and recorded in the Help Desk database
- Practice patience and compassion when interacting with the company’s internal teams
- Effectively communicate with the IT team to pass on important information about whatever help is being requested
- Cook up coordination with other departments regarding IT technical issues to ensure the problem at hand is fixed promptly and efficiently
- Afford various support tasks such as basic supply purchasing, login assistance, and other duties as assigned
- Afford assistance with Onboarding/Offboarding, account creation/removal, and FAQ maintenance
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must have high-quality phone skills
- Excellent time management skills, able to manage a list of requests varying in priority
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
- Top-notch communication skills, both written and oral
- Attention to detail
- Accountability and flexibility with duties as the need arises
- A calm, methodical working style, and most importantly, the ability to stay on task under pressure
Qualifications
- Experience in customer service, retail, or reception is a plus
- Previous IT experience is optional
Skills
- Phone skills are a must
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Pay
$14-$17 depending on experience
Schedule
Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, with flexibility and overtime as needed
One Saturday per month
