IT Assets Specialist

About the role

Hansen Talent Group is seeking a strong IT Asset Specialist to support a large enterprise, managing the full lifecycle of hardware, software, and mobile devices while providing end-user support to ensure smooth business operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming IT assets and support regular physical inventory audits, including tracking software license allocations.
• Support the full lifecycle of assets and manage inventory reports to ensure compliance and prevent overuse or underuse of licenses and inventory.
• Provide end-user support for equipment setup, software installations, and troubleshooting requests for workstation equipment, desktop applications, and mobile devices.
• Test A/V equipment across meeting and conference rooms, providing basic troubleshooting and installations as needed.
• Coordinate equipment refreshes, inventory reviews, procurement requests, and hardware disposal.
• Support vendor relationships and coordinate service visits.
• Ensure all assets and inventory records comply with corporate policies, state and federal regulations, and security frameworks.

Requirements

• Hands-on support experience with end-user devices and desktop applications.
• Working experience with asset/inventory management.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
