IT Asset Management Specialist

About the role

The IT Asset Management Specialist is responsible for managing the lifecycle of all company assets including hardware, software, and peripherals. This includes procurement, maintenance, and disposal.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory of IT assets and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement of new equipment and software.
• Develop and maintain documentation for asset management processes.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Ensure proper disposal of obsolete or damaged assets in accordance with environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT asset management or a related field.
• Experience with asset tracking systems and software.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library).
• Experience with asset disposal procedures and environmental regulations.

Skills

• Asset management software proficiency (e.g., ServiceNow, SAP).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
