Functional Requirements
- Full Asset Lifecycle Management: Manage the complete lifecycle of IT assets including receipt, asset tagging, deployment, tracking, inventory management, and retirement/disposal;
- Procurement & Financial Processing: Coordinate with hardware vendors and purchasing department to obtain quotes, manage purchase requests, and resolve delivery issues. Review and apply inventory activities, track invoices, and ensure receiving and payment processes are accurate to support audit readiness and cost transparency;
- Service Desk & User Support: Address users in a friendly and professional manner, evaluate and prioritize incoming requests. Document all inventory data, calls, emails, and project tasks within the service desk application. Backup for general call queue when needed;
- Termination Recovery & Loss Prevention: Coordinate hardware collection upon employee separation to reduce asset loss and control replacement spend;
- Mobile & Print Fleet Operations: Manage the ordering, provisioning, and tracking of corporate mobile devices (iPads);
- Process Improvement & Compliance: Develop, document, and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for highly efficient inventory management. Maintain readiness by keeping sufficient inventory levels to support new hires and ongoing operations;
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
Qualification Standards
- Education & Experience: Minimum High School Diploma or GED Equivalent plus 2 years of secondary education or equivalent work/military experience. Minimum 1+ years of related experience in inventory or asset management required
- Technical support experience (Helpdesk) a plus
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Google Workspace Suite. Experience entering requisitions, receipts, or invoices
- Soft Skills: Must possess excellent customer service, negotiation, mathematical, and analytical skills. Must be highly organized, capable of working independently or cross-functionally, and cost-conscious to conserve organizational resources
- Must pass required safety courses and strictly comply with OSHA, TWIC, and site-specific guidelines
- Maintain a current, valid Louisiana Driver's license with reliable transportation
