IT Architect IV

About the Role

This position involves supporting the development and execution of enterprise technology standards and architecture governance to guide solution design and investments. The individual contributor assists in defining IT strategic direction, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop architecture artifacts, roadmaps, and transition plans.

Responsibilities

• Support business projects by applying expertise, developing work plans, and ensuring policy adherence.
• Collaborate across teams to develop architecture artifacts and technical solutions.
• Assist in selecting technologies and contributing to architecture strategy and future direction.
• Define and communicate architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Share knowledge on gaps, industry trends, and emerging technologies to influence decisions.
• Engage with IT and business leaders to support technology adoption and promote architecture principles.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, educating others and presenting architecture concepts internally and externally.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field with six years of IT experience, including two years in architecture projects; equivalent experience may suffice.
• At least one year of experience with modeling techniques such as BPMN, UML, or ER.
• Minimum one year in a technical leadership role, with or without direct reports.
