IT Architect IV

Role Overview

This position involves supporting enterprise technology standards, architecture governance, and the development of IT strategic direction. The individual contributes to creating and executing architecture processes for technology solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop solution architectures, roadmaps, and transition plans that align with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project work, develop work plans, and coordinate resources to meet priorities and deadlines.
• Collaborate with teams to create architecture artifacts and guide detailed design.
• Assist in technology selection, develop architecture strategies, and share knowledge of industry trends and gaps.
• Define and communicate architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Engage with leadership and stakeholders to influence technology adoption decisions.
• Act as a subject matter expert, educating teams on architecture methodologies, governance, and standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least six years of IT experience, including two years in IT architecture projects; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least one year of experience with modeling techniques (e.g., BPMN, UML, ER).
• Minimum one year in a technical leadership role, with or without direct reports.
