IT Applications Analyst (Healthcare Experience Preferred)
About The Role
The IT Applications Analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining enterprise applications, coordinating issue resolution, analyzing data, and managing application enhancements. You will play an important role in ensuring operational stability while helping deliver technology solutions that meet evolving business needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for enterprise applications and troubleshoot production issues
- Coordinate issue resolution with business users, vendors, and internal IT teams to ensure stable application operations
- Perform production data analysis, validation, and approved data updates using Microsoft SQL Server
- Maintain data integrity and adhere to established change management processes
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, infrastructure teams, and application architects
- Track application enhancements, defect remediation efforts, and project deliverables
- Manage dependencies related to APIs, integrations, environments, infrastructure, and system access
- Develop a strong understanding of business processes and application functionality to support operational success
- Provide functional guidance and requirements clarification to vendors and technology partners
- Document business requirements and minor enhancements
- Support testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and implementation efforts
- Review vendor estimates, validate scope and assumptions, and help ensure solutions align with enterprise standards
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in Application Support, Application Analysis, or a related IT role
- At least 2 years of application development experience (.NET, Java, C#, or similar technologies)
- Experience supporting enterprise applications in a business environment
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and change management practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, including query writing, data analysis, troubleshooting, data validation, and updates
- Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and application interfaces
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across teams
Preferred Qualifications

Pay
In the spirit of pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000, not including fringe benefits or potential bonuses. At Liberty, your final base salary will be determined by factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience. We are committed to pay equity and also consider the internal equity of our current team members when making final compensation decisions.
Work Environment
This position is performed in a professional office environment and involves extensive computer use, typing, and prolonged periods of sitting.
