IT Analyst, Senior EMR EpicCare Ambulatory & Ambulatory Specialties
About the role
The IT Analyst, Senior utilizes a combination of programming and analytical skills to formulate/define system scope and objectives for the Electronic Medical Record System which includes testing validating and implementing EMR screens used by clinicians performing and documenting patient care activities.
Under general supervision, formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead smaller internal projects and keep track of team assignments as well as manage the workflow of clinics.
- Coordinate and perform analysis, design, development, testing, validation, and implementation of EMR screens used by clinicians performing and documenting patient care activities, leveraging system functionality to support clinical process and organizational goals.
- Provide ongoing support of the EMR system and the end-users.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum Experience: 5 years relevant experience. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Licensure: None required
Physical Demands
Job requires sitting for prolonged periods. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly.
Pay
The pay range for this role is $37.48 - $74.95 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
