IT Analyst - Onsite

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Analyst for an onsite position with a Manufacturing Company located in Carson, NV. This is a short-term contract opportunity through the end of 2026. Pay Rate: $35-45 an hour w2 This role involves providing hardware and software maintenance, training, and consultation, along with recommendations for future planning and development of IT resources. The IT Analyst provides these services in an effective and efficient manner to ensure maximum access to and implementation of technology services and resources. Responsibilities: Build strong relationships with end users and provide Tier 1 customer serviceProvide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, software, and hardwareImplement, install, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing and new Microsoft Windows operating systemsResolve help desk tickets as assignedDiagnose and correct system-related failures and perform system management activitiesDetermine logical solutions to complex system administration and application problemsManage Active Directory and O365 users, computers, and mailboxesMaintain, install, and troubleshoot network components and peripherals including copiers, printers, workstation terminals, Cisco switches, VOIP phones, and VPN NetworksSupport administration of Citrix, EMC, and VMware environmentsDetermine users' technical needs and provide them with appropriate solutionsMaximize network and systems performance through monitoring toolsMaintain documentation of technical maintenance proceduresRegularly confer with members of the IT Team and users regarding current and prospective system changes and future needs Requirements: A minimum 2 years related experience and/or trainingExperience in building, upgrading, and repairing PCs and laptopsExperience in Active Directory, writing GPOs and PowerShell ScriptingDesktop/Laptop skills: Antivirus, Basic Troubleshooting, Firmware Upgrades, ImagingMicrosoft Stack skills: Active Directory, Office 365, Powershell, WindowsAbility to work independently and with a teamAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with remote and onsite usersAbility to effectively explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical staffExcellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communicationDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; detail orientated with high appreciation for excellence and qualityAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsAbility to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables Desired skills: Experience in writing system documentation, system specifications / requirements and training materialsExperience in a manufacturing environment Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
