IT Analyst IV – Senior Security and Compliance Analyst

About the role

The Senior Security and Compliance Analyst will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, technical teams, auditors, vendors, and business partners. Key responsibilities include advancing the County's enterprise cybersecurity, governance, risk, and compliance program. This role supports audit readiness, risk management, technology controls, and compliance with various frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex cybersecurity and regulatory requirements into practical, measurable, and audit-ready controls.
• Support audit readiness and risk management processes.
• Ensure compliance with frameworks such as NIST, CJIS, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.
• Collaborate with technical teams, auditors, vendors, and business partners to enhance enterprise security.
• Help shape a proactive, organization-wide risk and compliance program.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, compliance, or a related field.
• Experience with NIST, CJIS, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 frameworks.
• Strong understanding of ITIL, COBIT, and other industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

$129,874.83 – $157,863.66 Annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
