IT Analyst

About the role

The IT Analyst will be the primary support for our Software Development team and IT Programmers. You will provide frontline service and be a crucial part of continuous software enhancements and new technology deployment for our high-profile customers.

Responsibilities

• Communicate problems and issues to developers that are reported by the customer after an initial investigation.
• Use reports (MIS) and databases to analyze problems, errors, and potential software tweaks.
• Learn and understand the WITRON WMS system.
• Debug, test, and identify issues for our main development team.
• Create new projects based on existing templates and hand them over to IT Programmers for development.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Technologies and Server/Client Environment.
• Understanding of log files, analyzing problems, and communicating with teams in both the US and Germany.
• Fundamental understanding of Microsoft databases including T-SQL.
• SQL Debugging (preferred).
• Experience in C++ programming (preferred).
• Ability to work successfully as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience combined with some educational background.
• 1-2 years of experience with Application Software Development based on Microsoft Client–Server architecture and Databases.
• Experience should include project design, coding, testing, delivery, and technical documentation.

Travel

Must be able to travel locally and internationally (25%).

Pay

Salary range: $62,000–$66,000.
